This week we visited North Macedonia where the second partner meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Raising Awareness for a Greener Tomorrow” was held. Through the RAGT project, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of proper waste sorting and management, where each of us can make a small but very significant contribution. So far, we have prepared a report on the state of waste management in Slovenia, Croatia, and North Macedonia. The report can be found under the “Results”. At the meeting, we discussed the next project activities related to developing a manual for teaching green topics for educators and creating an online search engine / digital assistant for waste sorting. As part of the meeting, we visited JP ISAR, a public utility company, where we heard firsthand about their experiences in waste management and also identified areas where we can collaborate in the future.
